Carl Lundgren
Would you take a lesson from this guy?
Carl started his skiing adventures in the late 1900s on the icy hills of Northern Michigan. He competed in high school and college, which led him to the bigger hills of Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming, Montana, Utah, and Alaska. Since retiring from his professional life, he has made the switch to ski instructing. Today, Carl spends most of his on-snow time in Switzerland, Utah and Alaska. Skiing Alaska’s Chugach Mountains has allowed him to combine his racing background with big-mountain freeskiing—with fun results. Carl is a PSIA-certified ski instructor for Alyeska Resort and enjoys teaching and coaching beginners through advanced skiers. In the off season, you can find him sea kayaking in Prince William Sound, hiking the Chugach Range, or in the gym working on leg strength!
